Twestival Baltimore - March 25, 2010

Posted on: March 22, 10 at - Comment

On Thursday 25 March 2010, people in hundreds of cities around the world will come together offline to rally around the important cause of Education by hosting local events to have fun and create awareness. Twestival™ (or Twitter Festival) uses social media for social good. All of the local events are organized 100% by volunteers and 100% of all ticket sales and donations go direct to projects.

For Baltimore’s part we will be holding a happy hour event at Don’t Know Tavern in Federal Hill… South Baltimore if you want to get real. Come on!

Buy a cup for $5 cash money. That money goes to the cause. Then, go fill that cup with a delicious selection of beverages. Specifically, Miller Lite Drafts for $3, Firefly drinks $4, or Blue Moon Drafts $4. Drink. Be merry. Feel the delicious warmth of knowing that you’re drinking for a good cause.

More details to follow.

Take a gander at the Facebook Event and invite your friends.

ONE DAY LEFT!!!!

Posted on: at - Comment

Well, we’re finally coming to the end of the road here. There’s only one day left until the first-ever HF-Twestival.

We still need some volunteer help at the event. If you want to earn a ticket to the show, let us know. We could certainly use a few extra hands.

And PLEASE spread the word about the show. We don’t care how you do it. Email, Twitter, Facebook, smoke-signal. Just get people talking about this. And tell them to buy tickets.
